Okay, I know I shouldn’t be doing another rabbit post so early, but you’ll need a laugh! Here’s what happened; I think I’ll start with a few days ago. I was outside doing the rabbit chores with my back facing Benny. (His cage door was open.) Actually, I was just feeding Bekah and first I should say that Benny LOVES to climb. With my back against his cage, Benny saw his chance to take a climb on my back. (Really just putting his front paws on it.) The paws startled me and caused me to jump. Well, with Benny leaning over to play “climb,” and with me moving, it caused him to fall out of his cage! This has happened before but is rare. Anyway he recovered as fast as it happened. A few days later (today) as I was getting ready for church, I looked out the kitchen window. There was Benny running around in the snow in the backyard! I rushed outside to see him running around his cage. I picked him up and put him in his cage to see that I had left the cage door open. I had a tarp stretched over both cages. I wondered how Benny got loose through his tarp, and I wondered how he could tell his cage was in there. The next thing happened, I don’t know how long ago, That same thing happened to my Dad! Except Dad found him in the front yard. (How Benny bypassed the cactus, I don’t know.) Oh well, all ends well.
P.S. I noticed Benny and Bekah have profiles now. I guess I’ll have to watch my back to see what they’re up to and see what they put on about me! Here’s Benny’s and Bekah’s.
