Pardon me for my long absence from the blog world! Hopefully I’ll stay back in business for awhile.
Today’s Scripture reading is Genesis 1:20-31
Here we see God creating every living creature. The Bible mentions moving water creatures and flying creatures on the fifth day, and it also mentions land animals and humans on the sixth day.
We see humans and creatures that (although not all) have two eyes, a mouth of some kind, smelling of some kind and hearing of some kind.
For example, a huge problem evolution has is that squids have eyes that are very similar to human eyes. But just think about it. We are so incredibly different than squids. Evolutionists DO NOT believe that this eye was passed on from squids to humans. Instead, they link up squids with another family that snails come from, but just think how different snail eyes are from squid eyes! They would have to believe that squid eyes and human eyes evolved at two different times, even though they are very similar. Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that our eyes are identical to squid eyes, I’m just saying that they have huge similarities.
Another example comes from creatures that fly. We have flying birds, insects, mammals (bats), and reptiles (pterodactyls). All these creatures are different from one another. The bird is the only one with feathers, the insect is the only one without a backbone, the mammal is the only one that has hair (plus other differences), and the reptile has skin (or scales), plus many other differences between all of them. How could flight have evolved four different times?
Through these examples, evolutionists see a common ancestor; I look at this evidence and see a common designer. We have to have one. We cannot have all these incredible systems without a designer.
I just have to look at a famous bird, Archeopteryx. This bird is seen by some to bee a “missing link” between reptiles and birds. The problem is that this bird is still full bird. It still has hollow bones (unlike its counter with dense bones), and it has feathers. We still have not found a bird with part hollow, part dense bones, or a reptile with part feather, part scales. It just does not exist! So the missing link is still missing.
I could go on for millions of years. However, because of time, I will end with this incredible creature, the woodpecker, presented by Dr. Jobe Martin in the film, “Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution 1.”
Please stay tuned for No. 2, Pt. 2 coming in the near future!
